MISE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-30

Home 7 Inc. ("we", "us") operates the account and licence service for the Mise desktop application. This policy explains what personal information that service handles.

The short version

Your business data stays on your computer. Employee records, payroll, Social Insurance Numbers, bank details, customers, invoices, inventory and everything else you enter into Mise are stored in a database on your own computer. They are never sent to our servers. Our servers only know who your account is and which modules you are entitled to use.

What we collect

What we do not collect

We do not collect the contents of your Mise database or files, your employees' or customers' personal information, your financial records, or usage analytics about what you do inside the app.

How we use it

Who else handles information

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Retention

We keep account and subscription records while your account is open and for as long afterwards as needed for billing, tax and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your account; some billing records must be kept by law and by Stripe.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent, subject to legal requirements (including Canada's PIPEDA and, where it applies, Quebec's Law 25). Contact support@onepbdc.com. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Cookies

The account service does not use tracking cookies. The admin page (for our staff) keeps a session token in your browser's session storage while you are signed in.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a material way we will tell you by email or in the app. Questions: support@onepbdc.com (Home 7 Inc.).
